Louis D'Angelo is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who joined Albany Financial Group in January 2024 as a Financial Planner to Walter Klisiwecz, CFP®. In his role, Lou assists Walter with investment management and financial planning for his clients.
Lou graduated Magda Cum Laude from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, an Economics minor, and a concentration in Value Investing. Before joining Albany Financial, Lou was a Business Strategy Manager and Financial Advisor with Private Advisor Group based in Morristown, New Jersey. Prior to that role, Lou worked in Manhattan as a financial services consultant with Ernst & Young, and later as the project manager for the Global Legal and Corporate Affairs office of AB InBev.
Lou holds his Series 7 and 66 Securities Registrations through LPL Financial and also has his New York State Life, Accident & Health insurance license. Lou is also a CFP® certificate candidate who passed the CFP® exam in March 2023.
Lou, his wife Serena, and their black Lab Luna currently live in Niskayuna. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing the drums, skiing, and golfing.
